Quest is an adventure style camp for Pathfinders (aged 11-15 years at the time of the event), run by Rangers, Guiders and others.   Its an all-outdoor, all-weather tenting camp, in which Pathfinders team up and go on a questto tackle as many 30-minute challenges as possible in a 12-hour period, from 10am to 10pm on the Saturday of camp.

Quest projects are prepared for Pathfinders by Rangers, Guiders and others, and challenge each Pathfinder group’s abilities in teamwork, team spirit, leadership, reasoning and endurance.  While supervised by Guiders throughout the camp, Pathfinders work together to make group decisions, carry everything they need in their backpack, prepare and manage their meals, and develop and execute their game strategy, fostering independence and confidence.  While it’s fun for everyone, Quest is a competition; Pathfinders are scored on their performance at each project site, scores are tallied and the top 3 teams receive small prizes and big bragging rights.

This year’s Quest runs from Friday Sept 27th - Sunday Sept 29th, 2019.  The theme is to be announced.

Registration for Projects begins in the summer, and registrations for Pathfinder teams begins mid-August.  You will receive e-blasts with all the details, and we will also post information here (see below).

Guiders, to prepare your Pathfinders (they’ll create a team flag and cheer) and collect paperwork, we recommend that you plan to get together with them in late August or very early September (Tim’s is always a good spot!).

Please note: this year, the absolute deadline for all signed forms and payments is TBD.
