Girl Guides of Canada’s Change Maker Award celebrates the courageous and inspiring actions of girls from all branches and the compassionate young leaders they’re becoming.
No matter how big or small the change – whether our members are making a difference in their community or around the globe – our Change Maker Award is here to cheer girls on as they change the world.

Nominations
This award is open to girls in all branches! Girls are encouraged to nominate themselves or each other. If girls require support submitting their nomination on Survey Monkey Apply, then caregivers or Guiders are welcome to assist, however, all nominations must come from girl members.
Nominations for the 2025 Change Maker Award will be open from March 18 to April 19.

Change Maker Award recipients
The 2025 Change Maker Award recipients will be announced in June.
All nominees will receive a letter of recognition from the Guiding Ambassador. All award recipients will receive an award pin and a certificate. They’ll also be celebrated nationally on Girl Guides of Canada’s social media and through other channels.
